Datastorm self sufficient without any need for software on your computers. In addition, wireless
operation of multiple computers becomes a simple operation. Also, higher bandwidth speeds are

Many users are unaware of the actual operation of the Datastorm. The Datastorm is simply an
automatic aiming device for a Hughes Net satellite antenna. MotoSat’s Datastorm incorporates
the Hughes Net reflector, transmitter and modem, which is ultimately used to communicate to the
Satellite. Simply you have Hughes Net communication hardware and software, working together
with the MotoSat Datastorm satellite antenna aiming hardware and software. Both technologies
work together to aim the antenna.
I bring this point to you attention, because the TRIA and the Modem are Hughes Net parts, and
the Lower Control Unit (LCU) and the Upper Control Unit (UCU) are Datastorm parts.
Because of Hughes Net’s technological changes, MotoSat was able to update their technology.
Today’s Datastorm is the same time tested mechanical equipment, the motors, the aluminum &
stainless steel body and wiring. MotoSat has been making the mechanical part of the Datastorm

made the Datastorm more user friendly and easier to operate, nearly plug and play.

contacted you dealer (Tier 1 tech support), then you were passed on to your VAR ((Value Added
Retailer (Tier 2 tech support), then finally you are passed to MotoSat (Tier 3 tech support), the
Datastorm Manufacturer. This could mean there are at least two companies pointing fingers at
the other and you are left in no-man's-land and confused.
